Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • The title page with the names of the authors and the manuscript file without the names of the authors is ready.
  • Copyright Transfer Form has been filled out.
  • The text is 1 spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Manuscript uses APA 7th edition reference style which includes no endnotes or footnotes.
  • Author(s) added the ORCID Number when submit the manuscript.

Author Guidelines

The authors should strictly follow the following instructions while submitting their articles to IJEDAI

  • The abstract of the articles should be between 150 and 250 words.
  • The APA'7 Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (https://apastyle.apa.org) (Reference Example  and Common Reference Examples, and Table/Figure Examples) should be used as the publication style for the articles.
  • The keywords should be between 3 and 5 words
  • Manuscript Templete: The writing format is not mandatory for the first submission of the article. Authors may download an MS Word template by clicking here
  • Accepted Article Templete: Accepted MS Word Template must be used for studies accepted for publication.
  • Headings of the manuscript; it can continue as abstract, introduction, methodology, findings/results, discussion, conclusion, recommendation, limitations, acknowledgements, references, appendices.
  • For manuscript written in English,  abstract must be written in Turkish and English. For manuscript in English, abstract can be written by the journal if the authors wish.
  • Authors should prepare their manuscripts in a way that does not give away their identity. When uploading a manuscript to the system, the title page with the names of the authors and the manuscript file without the names of the authors must be uploaded separately.
  • 'Copyright Transfer Form' must be filled out and upload by the corresponding author for articles submitted to the journal.
  • Author(s) in manuscript editing/revision, she/he prepare responses to according to the reviewers report using by revisions report.

Writing Rules

Text

  • Page setting: A4 format with 2 cm margins on all four sides
  • Always use one font and size, preferably: Times New Roman, 11 pt.
  • Use line spacing 1,5 throughout
  • Justify your text both on the left and right
  • Switch off the MS Word automatic hyphenation function

Formatting Tables and Figures

  • Use the guidelines in section seven of APA7 (Table/Figure Examples) to prepare tables and figures.
  • Tables and figures are to be placed at the appropriate place with the text.
